OK, Which JWB
Generation do
you have?
|
|
We
have to
determine what
generation
outdoor hot tub
you have.
Jacuzzi started
building spas in
the
80's. Parts
are commonly
available for
spas built from
the late 1980's.
To ease
identifying what
generation
you have, we
have broken the
generation of
spas into 4 time periods.
|
|
1980's to 1994 |
| You will have a logo like this: |
 |
a topside like this: |

|
and underneath, the control box is a SCM that looks like this: |
 |
|
We call them "Mechanical Spas" because.... everything is mechanical. If you do, >CLICK |

2001-2002 |
|
Gatsby
Division
made
the
"Echo"
and
"Essence"
spas
for
a
short
period.
|
|
A
good
help
is
by
the
topside.
If
your
topside
looks
like
the
topside
to
right
but
with
Echo
on
the
label,
you
have
a
Gatsby
Division
spa. |

Jacuzzi
Hot
Tub
division
separated
its
name
from
Jacuzzi
Whirlpool
Bath.
These
spas
continue
to
present.
They
are
known
as
Jacuzzi
Premium
or
Jacuzzi
Hot
Tubs.
The
two
logos
associated
with
them
are
shown
here.
NOTE:
Virtually
NOTHING
on
this
generation
spa
apply
to
previous
generation
spas. |
