Reason is that we have often replaced what we "thought" was wrong only to return later to have to drain and repair another part. 13-Mechanical Seal All

 We Offer Three Grades of Mechanical Seals. First is Standard, most common used. Second and Third are "Ozone" which have a heavier rubber designed to be ozone gas resistant. Some find their ozonator is causing an early or frequent failure of their mechanical seal which makes the pump leak at the motor shaft. We offer both a generic "ozone" seal and Jacuzzi Bath's mechanical seal. See Below:

"Ozone Seal? What's that?" Several manufacturers have introduced mechanical seals that have a different rubber that is resistant to the affects of ozone gas. If you have a spa with an ozonator and maintain water quality yet the seal keeps failing early, consider one of these "ozone" seals. Please note that these will not help water quality that is not maintained. These are only designed to withstand ozone gas, not poor water quality.
