About Connectors From Your Ozonator to the Board:
There are several ways Jacuzzi Premium Spa Ozonators are connected to the control box.

Ø  First Generation:  Direct to board method. The cord from the ozonator is fitted with crimps in the field to attached to the posts on the board. This DOES enable you to use any ozonator, crimp the ends, and install. You must MATCH the voltage.

Ø Second Generation: The square connector (need adaptor to use current ozonators see bottom of page) or splice into existing line.

Ø Current Generation:  The J & J socket used on current high mg output ozonators.

You will need a adaptor to use the current Jacuzzi Premium Spa Ozonator on the 2nd Generation Plug. See bottom of page for more information.

You need to ID which your spa has.

 

After Market Ozonators:

 

Qzone by Balboa. With Smart Start and Plasma Cell Technology. Uses a UV lamp. This model can be wired to run on 110vac or 220vac. Will operate on any Jacuzzi spa systems.
Comes with AMP plug which does not install into a Jacuzzi Premium Spa. You will need to splice inline with old plug.

ECS-1RAMP

The SpaEclipse is DEL's first Corona Discharge ozone generator for residential spas. In addition to the advantages of Corona Discharge ozone technology, the SpaEclipse saves money because the Corona Discharge chip uses less energy (no lamp, ballast, or starter) than an ultraviolet generator and the chip costs less to replace. The SpaEclipse uses solid state electronics to eliminate voltage spikes that can upset spa-pack electronics or trip the G.F.C.I. Finally, water backup into the SpaEclipse will not harm the unit or trip the spa's G.F.C.I.

Adapter Needed to Use Above Ozonators on late 2002-2004 Jacuzzi Premium Models

(How Do You Tell? Many 2002-2004 Premium spas have a square socket/plug. That style of Ozonator has being phased out for this new generation ozonator using a J&J socket/plug.

IF your spa has the small square socket/plug, you need to buy this adaptor to connect the 2004+  ozonators. This adaptor mates the two styles of plugs. You only have to buy this part once.
