Jacuzzi basically had 4 configurations on the 2-3 pump models. Most
common is two of the same pump/motors; the 2500-250. Some of the
models also offered the #2 pump/motor to be a 3hp instead of the
1jp; the 2500-251. Then in 1998 they added the CC-3HP-230. Its a
non-JWB pump with flat unions and higher pressure. Soon afterward
they added 24/7 circulation pumps. MOST models with circulation
pumps have the smaller pump right in front of you when you open the
access. The larger spas have larger pumps sitting on the spa's
