Is My Pump ¾hp or 1hp?  Mine says I have a 1½hp but you call it a 2hp; why? 

Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath originally rated their one speed pump at ¾ hp. After reevaluating the pump's water volume and in comparison to other pumps, they re-listed it as a 1 hp pump. They did the same with their 2 speed pump/motor from 1½ hp to 2 hp.

To add to the confusion it's common for some to simply call them either the single speed pump Jacuzzi Pump or  the two speed Jacuzzi Pump so there would be no confusion or comparison by the hp rating. So we have customers looking for a  ¾hp pump, another a 1hp pump, and a third for single speed pump. All being the same pump.

To keep things simple we call them the 1hp or 1jp Jacuzzi Pump and/or motor and the second size the 2hp or 2jp.

Be assured, these are original J-Pumps and motors from Jacuzzi.

The exception is the Standard Duty 2 hp motor and the Heavy Duty motor. Jacuzzi only offers the Standard Duty. We offer both. Therefore we assemble the Jacuzzi 2jp Pump with a Heavy Duty motor in-house.
